What’s the story?

As per a recent report from Wrestling Inc earlier today, WWE Smackdown Live star Big Cass reportedly suffered yet another significant injury to his left knee during the on-going WWE House shows in Europe.

However, according to Wrestling Inc itself, there is apparently no truth to those particular reports, as it has now been noted that Cass has been seemingly limping during all his matches ever since this past Tuesday.

In case you didn’t know…

After disbanding with his former tag team partner Enzo Amore in 2017, Big Cass was on the verge of getting a solid push as a singles superstar. However, Cass’ push came to an unforeseen conclusion when he suffered a torn ACL in a Brooklyn Street Fight against Enzo Amore last summer in an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Cass made his WWE return this past month after an eight-month hiatus and upon his return to the company, the 7ft tall superstar helped ‘The Artist’ Shinsuke Nakamura in attacking WWE Champion AJ Styles and the recently medically cleared Daniel Bryan.

The heart of the matter

As noted, this past week on SmackDown Live, both Daniel Bryan and Big Cass were once again involved in another heated confrontation, which ended with ‘The Leader of The Yes Movement’ standing tall over Cass after brutally injuring the left knee of the latter.

Following the aftermath of the beatdown, it was additionally reported by Wrestling Inc that Cass was seemingly limping during and after his match at today's WWE SmackDown live event in Amsterdam, but this has apparently been the case for the 30-year-old who has actually been limping during all of his matches since Tuesday's SmackDown Live in order to sell the beating from Daniel Bryan on the show.

What’s next?

Cass is currently performing on the blue brand of Smackdown Live and it seems like his feud against Daniel Bryan is far from over.

Author’s Take

The on-going feud between Big Cass and Daniel Bryan has been surprisingly pretty good and I’m sort of excited to see where WWE is currently headed with this storyline.
