In case you didn’t know…

The professional wrestling community has been abuzz regarding banter of Sheamus being involved in a car crash over the weekend.

Apparently, Sheamus, who has been dealing with a few injuries over the past few months, was victimized by an individual online who spread rumours of the Celtic Warrior being part of a vehicular accident.

The heart of the matter

Veteran professional wrestling journalist Ryan Satin has taken to social media so as to clarify any speculation surrounding the aforementioned rumour.

Satin confirmed that the entire Sheamus-car crash banter is a hoax.

Apparently, an internet troll propagated talk of Sheamus having a car accident over the weekend—something that is absolutely not true.

What’s next?

Sheamus has been dealing with stenosis—the details and his rehab tricks of which can be read right HERE.

While Sheamus continues to compete in the WWE despite having to deal with the stenosis, experts believe that he will be used in a reduced capacity on WWE’s television programming until he makes a full recovery from his condition.

Author’s take

Firstly, shame on the people who put forth the horrendous rumours of someone having gone through a car accident. Simply thinking about the pain and fear Sheamus’ loved ones would’ve gone through upon hearing the news on the internet is spine-tingling.

Regardless, the professional wrestling community can now rest assured that Sheamus is indeed alright and will continue to deliver Brogue Kicks galore. Here’s hoping the internet criminal behind this rumour is brought to justice at the earliest.
