WWE Bash in Berlin has been a hot topic of conversation this week after the company was able to make a huge impression in Germany but it seems that the road to Bad Blood has already begun.

SmackDown's move to the USA Network takes place this week and there are some interesting news and rumors to unveil.

#4. Cedric Alexander Signs New WWE Deal

Cedric Alexander is the last remaining member of The Hurt Business in WWE and it seems that despite the recent release of Bobby Lashley and MVP, he has signed a new contract.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that the former champion has re-signed with WWE despite his lack of appearances on the main roster over the past year. His signing comes after Shayna Baszler and Asuka also inked new deals this week.

#3. The Rock set to return to WWE

The Rock walked away from WWE the night after WrestleMania 40 when he left his interaction with Cody Rhodes on a cliffhanger and the potential for a match between the two men was made clear. It seems that fans may not have to wait until WrestleMania 41 for The Rock to return to WWE, since PWN is reporting that The Great One could make a WWE appearance in the next month or two.

With Survivor Series on the horizon and the story between The Bloodline reaching a new level, his return could be an interesting one.

#2. Mike Rome welcomes his first child

Mike Rome was absent from NXT this past week and it was reported that this was because of something personal. The ring announcer has since revealed on his Instagram page that he has welcomed his first child, a son called Salem.

Rome noted that his son was born on the fifth of September and has since been congratulated by many WWE Superstars.

Rhea Ripley has only recently returned from injury and appears to be looking to recapture her Women's World Championship but the former champion was recently asked by Adam's Apple about what her plans for retirement are.

"I mean, I haven't really thought about it. A farewell tour would be amazing but also I'm nowhere near done. So, I haven't really thought too in-depth about it."

Ripley made it clear that this was a long way off but noted that John Cena's farewell tour appears to be a good idea.
