WWE News: Rusev threatens to "bury" The Undertaker

What's the story?

Rusev sent out a threatening message to The Undertaker, who will be his opponent at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in a casket match.

The Undertaker made his in-ring return after one year when he competed in a match against John Cena, defeating the former 16-time World Champion in under 5 minutes.

In case you didn't know...

Rusev has been immensely popular with the crowd ever since he debuted the "Rusev Day'' gimmick, even though he hasn't received much of a push by the WWE.

Although a crowd favorite, Rusev has achieved nothing of significance ever since his last US Championship reign ended at the hands of Roman Reigns in 2016.

Rusev was part of a fatal-4-way match for the US Championship at WrestleMania which he ended up, not only loosing, but taking the pin, much to the ire of the fans.

The Undertaker vs Rusev match announced had been changed by WWE when Chris Jericho replaced Rusev in the match; however, Rusev was put back in the match after fans voiced their displeasure at the change.

The heart of the matter

Rusev has finally been given a huge opportunity by the WWE as a chance to face The Phenom in a match is one which everyone dreams of having.

Rusev has not taken this lightly and used his Twitter to send out a harsh message to The Undertaker:

I am going to make the #WWEGRR the Greatest #RusevDay when I put The Undertaker into the casket and close it 4 life. The Deadman will be buried! @WWEDramaKing

What's next?

The Undertaker and Rusev will be going head to head in a casket match at GRR, which will be The Undertaker's first casket match in 10 years.

Rusev has to be one the funniest and most entertaining WWE Superstars, especially when it comes to Twitter. He has used his wit yet again and made a strong statement while also making a very intelligent pun.
