Samoa Joe has taken to social media in order to send a rather ominous message to Roman Reigns ahead of tonight’s episode of RAW.

In case you didn’t know…
Roman Reigns recently won the WWE Intercontinental Championship and has previously stated that he plans on being a fighting champion, and defend his strap every week in an ‘Open Challenge’ on RAW.
Per Open Challenge rules, any WWE superstar is allowed to answer said challenge and compete against Reigns for the title. The Shield powerhouse successfully defended his IC title against Elias Samson on last week’s episode of RAW, however, was attacked by Samoa Joe on his way back the entrance ramp.
The heart of the matter
Per the vast majority of professional wrestling experts, the WWE shall feature the Reigns-Joe feud prominently on tonight’s episode of RAW.
Reiterating the aforementioned belief, Samoa Joe sent a message to Roman Reigns—a few brief excerpts of which have been noted below—
“You know Romi, I have to wonder. Why somebody like you would forget the first, cardinal rule of what we do, and that’s always watch your back.”
Furthermore, Joe emphasized that if Reigns had trouble sleeping ahead of tonight’s RAW, he’ll make sure that at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California (tonight’s venue for RAW), he’s going to make sure that Reigns ‘sleeps’ just fine.

The WWE seems to be keen on pursuing a program between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe in the days to come.
Fans can expect their clashes to reach a final crescendo likely at the Royal Rumble PPV early next year.

Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe are just two phenomenal athletic specimens, who—strangely enough—never quite get the deserved credit for their toughness and resilience.
Nevertheless, it’s great to see the WWE trust Joe enough to put him in a feud with one of the sport’s top Superstars today…none other than the Big Dog, Roman Reigns.
