WWE News: Sasha Banks and Asuka have weird interaction on Twitter
What's the story?
Today on Twitter, WWE Superstars Sasha Banks and Asuka had an odd exchange of tweets.
This occurred after a fan tweeted Sasha some art which showed her burning Asuka in a picture.
In case you didn't know...
Asuka is soon debuting as part of Raw at the red brand's next PPV of TLC, which takes place in a couple of weeks on the 22nd of October.
The Japanese star was the longest reigning NXT Women's Champion in history, holding the title for over 500 days, and during her time in NXT, she went unbeaten. Asuka only lost her title after being forced to vacate it due to injury, and WWE took this opportunity to bring her to the main roster.
Sasha Banks is a four-time Raw Women's Champion, but she is currently not in the middle of any feud on Monday Nights. Banks won the Title most recently at August's SummerSlam pay-per-view against Alexa Bliss, but lost the title back to Bliss a week later on Raw.
The heart of the matter
Earlier on today, a fan of Sasha Banks on Twitter sent her some art someone did of the star, showing Banks burning Asuka:
Asuka was not impressed with how it was Sasha burning her in the art though, which you can see with the negative emojis she used to reply to the picture:
Sasha then responded to Asuka's emoji tweet with some Japanese, which means 'The cute clown' when translated into English. Asuka strangely tweeted back to Banks, saying she wanted to give her 'a massage', which saw Sasha react with a GIF:
As you can tell, the back and forth was not very normal, but entertaining nonetheless. It maybe could see something transpire between the two on WWE TV sooner rather than later.
Asuka will arrive on the main roster at TLC in two weeks, and it is presumed her first feud willl be with Emma.
However, Sasha Banks is without anybody to feud against at the moment since losing her title rematch to Bliss at No Mercy, so maybe this Twitter interaction could set up something between Sasha and Asuka.
I was highly amused by these tweets by the two. I would be really excited to see them two face each other once Asuka makes her presence felt on Raw at TLC, but I would prefer WWE to hold off on a feud between them for now because I can see it being WrestleMania worthy.
