What’s the story?

During a recent interview with Ash Rose of TalkSPORT, four-time Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks made a very bold acclaim, claiming that she is the greatest women’s wrestler that ever lived.

In case you didn't know...

Starting off her WWE career in NXT, Sasha Banks has had her fair share of both highs and lows in the WWE. During her time in NXT, The Boss was regarded as one of the finest heels to ever step foot into the WWE and her rivalry with Bayley truly stands out as one of the classic rivalries in NXT history.

Sasha is also a former four-time Raw Women’s Champion and her rivalry with Charlotte Flair has been nothing short of historic. Both Sasha and Charlotte faced each other on numerous occasions, including the first ever Women’s Hell in a Cell match.

The heart of the matter

While speaking with TalkSPORT, Sasha Banks opened up about her long-term rivalry against Bayley from her NXT days. Banks started off by claiming that her rivalry with Bayley is something she would love to pick right back up because of Bayley totally being capable of understanding Sasha’s in-ring capabilities. Sasha added that deep in her heart she knows for the fact that she is the greatest women’s wrestler ever.

The Boss then expressed that she would like to reunite her rivalry with Bayley once again and believes that it is time to prove the entire world that ‘The Boss’ is indeed the best female performer of all time. Additionally, Banks said that she is going to stay with the WWE for a long so there is plenty of time to begin a storyline with Bayley.

“Sasha Banks is all about being me and it’s not arrogance it’s confidence, I am the very best at what I do”- Sasha Banks stated.

What’s next?

Sasha Banks’ next goal will be to win the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match come January 28th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Author’s Take

Sasha Banks is certainly one of the best in-ring performers in WWE and in the entire world today, but, in my opinion, she is far from being the best female wrestler to ever step foot into the wrestling business.
