Last week, before Hell In A Cell, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Number One contender, Cat Zingano, called out Sasha Banks, when Sasha posted regarding her then-upcoming Hell In A Cell match. Zingano tweeted
She then followed up two days later by saying:
The Boss definitely heard all the buzz, because when she was on Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast two days before Hell In A Cell, she addressed Zingano calling her out and said the following. It must be noted that the interview was two days before Hell In A Cell, which meant she was still champion:
"I don't deal with basic people. If you want to come after my women's championship, you need to be like everybody else because I find that really disrespectful to all the women. You just want to come straight towards me. You need to get the proper training.”
She proceeded to take a jab at Zingano and the UFC
“I don't care, you fight in UFC, this is WWE. We do this every single week, not once every six months. You know what? Get proper training. Hopefully, you can get a trial in WWE. Maybe you'll get signed, and maybe two years from there, we'll see if you can get in the ring with me. Other than that, I don't want to hear about it. I will not comment back, because who are you? You're nobody"
Naturally, this was The Boss being in character. However, there is no denying that there would be a big buzz about bringing in Cat Zingano for a match in WWE, especially at Wrestlemania.
It is no secret that WWE has desired to get Ronda Rousey back in the ring, perhaps for Wrestlemania, and a Sasha vs. Cat Zingano match would definitely be a spectacle for Wrestlemania some day in the future.
