What’s the story?

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall was recently a guest on the CCW podcast where he discussed a host. Hall gave his thoughts on Triple H running NXT and what would happen if he takes over WWE from Vince McMahon.

In case you didn’t know…

Scott Hall is a former WCW and WWF superstar. Hall first signed for the WWF in the year 1992 and wrestled for the company for well over five years.

During his time in the company, Hall was part of numerous memorable feuds such as against the likes of Shawn Michaels—with whom Hall had the first ever ladder match in WWF history. Hall is also a former four-time WWF Intercontinental Champion and is one of the three originals of the world famous faction the New World Order.

The heart of the matter

Scott Hall recently appeared on the CCW podcast where he gave his thoughts on Triple H running NXT and also claimed that “The Game” is the right person to take over the WWE after Vince McMahon retires.

On Triple H running NXT:

Hall believes that NXT is the hottest wrestling show on the planet today and a big factor behind that is because of NXT being one hour per episode. He also says that the only reason Smackdown Live and Monday Night Raw gets a higher rating is that of them being two hours and three hours respectively.

However, Hall adds that three hours of Monday Night Raw is pretty hard to watch and believes that if Triple H was running Raw then he would have gone back to one hour TV, because it leaves people wanting more and is going to eventually boost up the ratings of the show.

If Triple H is the right man to take over the company:

Hall claims that he has all the respect for Triple H in the world and believes that he is the right guy for the job. The former WCW Tag Team Champion then compares Triple H with Vince McMahon and said that he is a cyborg who does not sleep. Hall then goes on to add that Triple H is one of the most humble guys he has ever met in the wrestling business and thus believes that if there is anyone who should take over the company from Vince McMahon then it is Triple H himself.

What’s next?

As for Triple H, he is the current senior producer of NXT and continues to run the show. The former World Champion has been doing a great job as the head of the show and continues to sign world-famous talents from around the world, for the developmental brand of NXT.

As for Scott Hall, he keeps on making special guest appearances on WWE TV and is also keeps on making appearances on the Independent scene for various promotions such as World Association of Wrestling, Continental Championship Wrestling and more.

Author’s Take

I personally, agree with Hall’s comments here and believe that Triple H is indeed the right person to take over the WWE once Vince McMahon steps down. “The Game” has been doing a great job in running NXT and will do the same if he takes over the main roster in the future.
