WWE News: Scott Hall hospitalized for chest pain

Scott Hall as Razor Ramon

What’s the story?

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall was recently hospitalised due to chest pain after working an indie show on Sunday in the UK, according to Cageside Seats and this was confirmed by Ricky Knight on Facebook.

In case you didn’t know...

Scott Hall or Razor Ramon is a semi-retired professional wrestler and a WWE Hall of Famer from the class of 2014. He was also one of the founding members of the wrestling faction, the New World Order (N.W.O).

The heart of the matter

A Facebook post from Ricky Knight confirmed that Former WWE wrestler and Hall of Famer Scott Hall was recently hospitalised after an indy show in the UK due to chest pain.

Hall isn’t exactly the epitome of health in the wrestling world and is known to have previously had problems with his heart. He has a defibrillator and a pacemaker implanted in his chest. He was hospitalised twice in 2010 for pneumonia (affecting both lungs) and in the same year, he was diagnosed with epilepsy.

Hall is now on various medications which help treat his heart and his seizure problems.

Despite having such health issues, it has been reported that Hall was released from the hospital and has allegedly flown home against the doctor’s orders. This raises major questions as to whether Hall is concerned about his own health and if he is, whether he plans to do anything about it?

What’s next?

Despite being warned by his doctor about air travel, Hall decided to fly home after he was released from the hospital.

Fans can only hope that Hall takes better care of himself in the future, but if his health records are any indication then we may not get to see the 58-year-old legend enter a ring or make many public appearances in the future.

Author’s take

There have been many incidents regarding WWE wrestlers and their health. Daniel Bryan, Edge and others have all suffered life-threatening injuries that have hampered their careers.

While Scott Hall may be a WWE legend, he needs to know when to draw the line especially when it comes to his own life. Hopefully, Hall will realise this and make some changes soon.
