In case you did not know…
WWE made some huge changes to the TLC match card today. One change saw Roman Reigns being replaced by Kurt Angle. Reigns was scheduled to team up with Rollins and Ambrose to face the team of The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman and Kane in a 5-on-3 handicap Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at the pay-per-view.
However, WWE was forced to replace Reigns from the show after he was diagnosed with a viral infection.
The heart of the matter
In the promo, Ambrose and Rollins talked about Reigns being ruled out of the pay-per-view. Rollins indicated that Shield has their own specific way of doing things when it comes to dealing with their opponents.
The duo also had a strong message for Kurt Angle and said that The Olympic Gold medallist should be prepared for war when he steps into the ring on Sunday night.
Kurt Angle will be making his WWE in-ring return on Sunday night after an 11-year gap. Apart from the replacement of Reigns, WWE has also added AJ Styles to the TLC match card. Styles will be facing Finn Balor at the event after Bray Wyatt, who was set to face Balor but had to step back after being diagnosed by the same infection.
The promo from Ambrose and Rollins indicates that Angle will have a hostile situation while teaming up with the tag team champions. The amount of frustration and disappointment about Reigns’ absence was evident from their words as well.
The video helps to add more subplots to the storyline and it helps the fans to realize that the replacement of Angle could end up having huge consequences.
