WWE News: Several more entrants added to the Women's Royal Rumble match

How
How many women were added in Orlando?

The first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match is going to be a pretty big deal. There will be a lot of pressure on the women involved in this history-making match and with the odds of winning being 30 to 1 each female needs to enter the match with a ruthless mindset in order to survive to the end.

Kurt Angle announced on Raw this week that the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble will be the same as the men's match. There will be thirty entrants and plenty of time for the match to tell a story. But with thirty entrants expected in the women's Royal Rumble match and only around twenty females on the current main roster, that likely means some NXT talent will be getting a great opportunity as well as some faces from the past who have shown interest.

With so many open spots for this big match, WWE needs to fill in the spaces quickly and it looks like they filled in five spots in one swoop during a backstage interview segment on SmackDown Live. The Welcoming Committee including Natalya, Carmella, Tamina, and Lana all threw their hats in the ring for this big match.

The fact that Carmella is entering the Royal Rumble match while she has her Money In The Bank briefcase could mean she's asking for too much, but she's allowed to dream.

Later on, after The Riott Squad defeated The Welcoming Committee, Ruby Riott announced that Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan are also in the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble Match.

Suddenly, Charlotte Flair came out and introduced Naomi followed by a returning Becky Lynch who all ran down to take a huge beating to The Riott Squad.

Becky Lynch ended up looking very good during this segment which would lead some to believe it will only be a matt of time before The Steampunk Princess makes her involvement in the Women's Royal Rumble official as well.
