WWE News: Several top WWE Superstars to appear on extreme game show
What's the story?
WWE is always looking for fun things for their Superstars to do in order to get exposure and if it helps them blow off some steam in the process then that probably makes it even better. Nickelodeon has a pretty entertaining show called Paradise Run which is a game show with obstacles and challenges akin to Wipe Out, American Gladiators, and a little bit of Takeshi's Castle... only it's for kids.
But the popular game show is having a WWE themed week and some really big names are going to take part in the event. The Usos, Kalisto, Naomi, and Bayley all made the trip to Hawaii to compete in the over the top game show.
In case you didn't know...
All of the people appearing on this game show are former WWE Champions of some kind. Therefore it shows how much attention WWE gave to the people they sent to do this show.
Not only that, but it was a huge reward for these guys and girls to get to go to Hawaii and compete in a game show which was probably a ton of fun to perform in.
The heart of the matter
This is just another great example of WWE and Nickelodeon's relationship. After all, John Cena hosted the Kids' Choice Awards last year and he did a pretty amazing job.
The Paradise Run episodes are expected to air from January 8th to January 12th, but since that show is on repeats so often, WWE Superstars will be popping up in syndication for a very long time to come.
Who knows what kind of extracurricular gig WWE might be able to find for their Superstars in the future? This Paradise Run deal was a pretty sweet one and will bring these Superstars into a lot of homes that might not realize the kind of bright personalities that WWE currently has.
I'm not going to lie, I've seen this show before and it's not the worst thing on television. It's hosted pretty well and the action keeps going throughout so it's hard to get bored with so many bright colours and noises. The WWE Superstars who made the trip to take part in this show were the perfect choices for the spot.
