Millions of women across the world were in love with Shawn Michaels' long locks and chocolate boy looks in the 80s and the 90s. However, a receding hairline forced Michaels to do something that shocked the WWE Universe.

In case you didn't know...
Shawn Michaels is known as the greatest WWE in-ring performer of all time. The man was an integral part of WWE's programming, both as the Heartbreak Kid in the early 90s and later on, as a member of D-Generation X, the hottest stable in WWE history.
All through his career, he has had long, flowing hair that was part of his original 'Rockers' gimmick. An era has now officially come to an end.

The Twitterati were not too happy to see Shawn Michaels without his trademark long hair. They let their displeasure be known in the form of tweets and comments. Some of them were quite hilarious. Others noted the passage of time, and lamented at how they did not like this change.

I've been watching Shawn Michaels wrestle for the last 25 years. While the act of cutting one's hair is in itself no big deal, it does signify how much time has passed.
