What's the story?

This week's episode of WWE RAW saw Roman Reigns return in one of the best moments on WWE television recently. He came out to the ring to open the show and then announced that his cancer was in remission. The entire arena gave him a standing ovation as he made his way to the back and was greeted by Seth Rollins on his way.

A Superstar who was conspicuous by his absence was 1/3rd of the Shield, Dean Ambrose. However, it would only be a matter of time before Roman Reigns returned to the ring, and it was at the side of Dean Ambrose.

In case you didn't know...

Roman Reigns has been taking time away from his in-ring WWE career, as he made the conscious decision to focus on his health instead. He had to take time away from WWE following his announcement about the return of his cancer when he informed the WWE Universe and the world for the first time that he had been diagnosed with Leukaemia.

Shield broke up on the same episode of RAW when Dean Ambrose turned his back on Seth Rollins, attacking him after they won the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles. Since then, Ambrose has seemingly turned face again and seems to be supporting Seth Rollins in his bid for the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 35 against Brock Lesnar.

The heart of the matter

Roman Reigns announced during his announcement that he was back, but no one expected to see the Big Dog in action on the same night of his return.

However, that's exactly what happened when Dean Ambrose was in need of help. Ambrose lost his No Disqualification match to Drew McIntyre. Following the match, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin came out to assist Drew McIntyre and assault Dean Ambrose.

However, they would not be able to do much as the Hounds of Justice came out to ensure the well-being of the third member of their pack. Shield reunited as Roman Reigns returned to action, taking out Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin as they made their way to the ring.

A Spear to Drew McIntyre finished things for the night.

What's next?

It appears that Roman Reigns is completely fit, and it is only a matter of time before he is in a match on WWE RAW. One thing can be said for sure, Roman Reigns' Spear was badly missed on WWE RAW.
