Former NXT Tag-Team Champion Sin Cara unveiled his new look recently at a WWE Live Event in Fargo, North Dakota. Sin Cara’s new look is based on black and a departure from his previous attire which was much more colourful.
In case you didn’t know...
Sin Cara recently got moved to SmackDown Live during the Superstar Shake-Up after floundering on RAW since being split up with his Lucha Dragon’s partner Kalisto last year. It was followed by a failed stint in WWE’s Cruiserweight Division.
When Kalisto got drafted to RAW during the first night of the Superstar Shake-Up, it looked like the Lucha Dragons were going to get back together but it was not to be as Sin Cara got drafted to the blue brand the next night. He is yet to make his SmackDown Live debut.
The heart of the matter
Sin Cara debuted his new ring-gear at a Live Event in Fargo, North Dakota. His new gear has a black background with what looks like lightning and thunder. It will be interesting to see what it looks like under UV ala Naomi.
What’s next?
Sin Cara is yet to make his SmackDown Live debut since the Superstar Shake-Up. It will be interesting to see how the luchador will fare on the blue brand.
Author’s take
Moving Sin Cara to the blue brand may not work out in the long run. Sin Cara doesn’t look like he’s cut out to be a single’s star in WWE and reuniting the Lucha Dragons on SmackDown may have been a better move for both Sin Cara and Kalisto. SmackDown’s tag-team division is pretty threadbare, and the Lucha Dragons would have fit in well.
