WWE News: Naomi and Lana get into a heated argument

What’s the story?

SmackDown Superstars Lana and Naomi got into a heated argument on social media after the Ravishing Russian tried to change Tamina’s appearance.

In case you didn’t know…

Lana was pushed as a singles competitor earlier this year, however, the WWE cut short her run as a wrestler because of the negative fan reaction directed towards her in-ring skills.

The popular Superstar then returned to her role as a valet, only this time instead of being paired with her real-life partner Rusev, Lana performs as Tamina’s manager.

The heart of the matter

Ever since being accorded the role of Tamina’s manager/valet on SmackDown Live, Lana has been on a self-proclaimed mission to make the former more ‘Ravishing’ and to lead the Samoan powerhouse to the blue brand’s Women’s Championship.

However, Naomi seems to have taken offence to Lana’s aforementioned attempts, accusing the Ravishing Russian of trying to make Tamina look like her. The argument proceeded to get heated.

What’s next?

Lana, Tamina and Naomi presently perform for the WWE’s SmackDown brand. Naomi is the recently deposed SmackDown Women's Champion.

The SmackDown Women’s Championship is currently held by Natalya and Tamina seems to be out of the title picture…for now.

Author’s take

Naomi seems to be in the wrong here, as she picked a fight with Lana regardless of the latter minding her own business.

Now, although this may be a work, Naomi comes off in a poor light in this exchange and appears to have once again started bullying Lana.
