Most prominently, McMahon asserted that she’s indeed proud of having Ronda Rousey as a part of the WWE roster. Besides, McMahon also spoke about Rousey’s quick transition into the WWE.

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is considered to be a Women’s MMA pioneer and is one of the biggest box office draws in combat sports history.

Rousey is also a lifelong professional wrestling fan and appeared in a guest spot at WrestleMania 31 a few years ago. The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion recently signed with the WWE and debuted as an official part of the WWE roster at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view that took place earlier this year.

WWE’s Chief Brand Officer (CBO) Stephanie McMahon emphasized that Ronda Rousey truly is one of the world’s greatest athletes, is one of a kind and will help take the WWE Universe to the next chapter of the Women’s Revolution.

Furthermore, McMahon went on to praise Rousey; lauding the latter’s work ethic and ability to swiftly blend into the world of sports-entertainment—

"When you consider her star power, charisma and ability to connect with the audience in her promos, she is real and authentic and gives everything she has to everything she does. I have never seen athlete transition so quickly into WWE as her in terms of understanding what she needs to do to connect. Ronda is one of a kind and we couldn't be more proud than to have her as part of the WWE roster."
