What’s the story?
One of the Principal Owners of WWE and former WWE Women's Champion Stephanie McMahon recently appeared on Chasing Glory with Lillian Garcia, where she was in interaction with legendary WWE announcer Lillian Garcia herself.
While speaking with Lillian, she opened up about what it’s like to work for the WWE and be Vince McMahon’s daughter.
In case you didn’t know…
Stephanie made her WWE debut in the year 1999 and immediately got involved in one of the greatest storylines of all time involving Mr McMahon and his family, The Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Stephanie, who is the currently serving as the commissioner of Monday Night Raw, is also a former one-time Raw Women’s Champion and has had a big influence on the overall scene in WWE.
She has also played a huge role in the betterment and development of WWE, along with her husband Triple H.
The heart of the matter
While speaking to Lillian Garcia, Stephanie claimed that the McMahon name comes with a lot of responsibilities and opportunities as well. According to Stephanie, being a child of Mr. McMahon is definitely not easy as she has to prove herself to be better than everybody else in the company.
Additionally, Stephanie also made a very shocking claim as she said that during her WWE tenure so far, she has made plenty of mistakes and was almost saw herself getting fired from the company due to them, however, the former Raw Women’s Champion also admitted to the fact that she has also learned a lot as well along the way.
"It hasn’t always been pretty. I had to learn a lot along the way and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. And I think that the only way you truly grow and get better is by making mistakes. But as Vince says, you can make mistakes, just don’t make the same mistake twice.”
What’s next?
Following the latest edition of Monday Night Raw and this year’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, it can be said that WWE is currently planning a mixed tag match between the duo of Stephanie and Triple H against Raw GM Kurt Angle and WWE’s newest marquee signing, Ronda Rousey.
However, as of right now, only time will tell how this story eventually unfolds.

Stephanie, in my opinion, is one of the most loyal and hard-working personalities in wrestling today and despite all the hate she receives for her on-screen personality, we shouldn’t overlook her success both in and out of the WWE.
