What’s the story?

Tamina Snuka has taken to social media so as to comment on her surgery & comeback.

Apparently, Tamina is well on the road to recovery and is looking to make an in-ring return as soon as her health permits.

In case you didn’t know…

Tamina Snuka has performed in the WWE since 2010 and has been one of the promotion’s most competitive in-ring workers over the years. She has, however, suffered from several injury issues in the past; including knee injury problems and well as a case of torn ligaments.

Tamina last competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble PPV last month and underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff a couple of days after the event.

The heart of the matter

Tamina Snuka has finally given the WWE Universe an update as regards her health status, by way of her official Twitter account.

Tamina thanked Kaplan Sports’ surgical team and Mike Letter for helping out with her surgery procedure, besides also expressing her gratitude towards the WWE for ensuring she gets the best healthcare one could possibly avail in the US.

What’s next?

Tamina Snuka performs for the WWE’s SmackDown brand and is expected to resume her in-ring duties after 6-8 months of rest and rehabilitation.

As we’d previously noted, Tamina’s shoulder injury is similar to that Jeff Hardy has been dealing with since October of last year. The recovery time for the injury could extend, in some cases, to about 8-12 months.

Well, Tamina Snuka has been one of the most hard-working wrestlers in the WWE for a long time now. It’s great to see her deal with the injury issues optimistically.
