What’s the story?
As we know, the present day WWE roster is currently stacked with enormous talent and during the recent edition of The Taz Show, Professional Wrestling expert and podcaster Taz discussed who he thinks is currently the most underrated wrestler on the entire WWE roster.
In case you didn’t know…
The current state of the entire WWE roster is completely packed with several outstanding wrestlers who have been performing on both main roster brands of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live. However, several talented men and women are also currently distinguished on the developmental brand of the company, that is, NXT.
On the other hand, the 205 Live brand and the WWE UK Division has also provided an opportunity to numerous names who have now been able to shine on the big stage.
The heart of the matter
On the recent edition of The Taz Show, former ECW World Champion Taz decided to host a poll in order to ask all his fans who they believe is currently the most underrated Superstar in the WWE, with the majority of the people voting for one half of the current Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion in Luke Harper.
However, regardless of that, Taz thinks that as of right now, the most underused star in all of WWE is non-other than Raw Superstar Apollo Crews, who has been seemingly booked in a very poor manner by the creative team since his call-up to the main roster.
In addition, Taz also noted that Apollo's vertical leaping ability and pure athleticism, along with his power and physique, is definitely a sight to behold. (H/T: Wrestling Inc)
"[Apollo] is for sure just a stud in the ring. Just a straight stud in the ring, and I really feel like he is underutilized for sure. So he, for me, would be my main guy currently. Now I know his promo work is not amazing, also all of that needs to be a part of the package. Your promo work, your look, your in-ring work and all that jazz. So, all of that stuff obviously is vital. He probably doesn't have the promo stuff down too good."

I absolutely agree with Taz’s opinion on this one and I do think that Apollo Crews is indeed one of the most underrated stars in all of WWE today. The 30-year-old was one of the most lovable and over Superstars in NXT and has also challenged for the NXT Championship as well, but his run on the main roster has been a sad story so far.
