What’s the story?

Following today’s special edition of WWE Raw, Finn Balor, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson spoke about their astonishing interaction with the legendary members of the D-Generation X at the Manhattan Centre in New York.

In case you didn’t know…

Earlier today at the Manhattan Center, one of WWE’s most controversial groups of all time, D-Generation X were reunited for the first time in a WWE ring since Raw 1000. Triple H and Shawn Michaels first thanked the fans present at the Manhattan Centre before paying a small tribute to their former DX stablemates, the late great Rick Rude and Chyna.

Shortly after, The Game and HBK were joined by The New Age Outlaws, X-Pac, and NWO originator Scott Hall and moments later they were joined by The Balor Club.

The Balor Club and DX then shared a very spectacular moment amongst themselves as the two factions shared a 'Too Sweet' gesture with each other in the middle of the ring before being interrupted by The Revival.

The heart of the matter

During their exclusive backstage interview with Dasha Fuentes later in the day, The Balor Club talked about their amazing experience at Raw’s 25th Anniversary as the trio of Balor, Gallows, and Anderson shared the ring with the legendary D-Generation X faction.

Finn Balor said that it was a pretty surreal moment to share the ring with the likes of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and others.

However, the former Universal Champion claimed that this movement was originally started by him and The Club (Referring to the Bullet Club) back in Japan and to have it come full circle with the DX and the NWO, in a WWE ring is pretty much a ‘Too Sweet’ moment.

Additionally, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows also reflected on their journey from the New Japan Pro Wrestling tour bus to the Manhattan Centre at Raw’s 25th Anniversary.

What’s next?

The Balor Club’s next goal will be to focus on the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view that is set to take place this coming Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Finn Balor has already confirmed his entry into the 30-man Rumble match, however, it is safe to assume that Anderson and Gallows could also enter the Rumble match in Philly this Sunday.

Author’s take

The segment between The Balor Club and DX was definitely one of the highlights of the entire show and was certainly a Too Sweet moment to see both the groups share this amazing moment with each other.
