WWE News: The Miz claims to have found the Shield's "weakness"

What's the story?

After the shocking return of Kane on Raw, Intercontinental Champion The Miz commented on his plan "coming together." He also said he found the weakness of The Shield heading into WWE's TLC pay-per-view.

In case you didn't know...

WWE is going all-in with the main event of TLC Sunday, as the match has now become a 3 vs. 5 Handicap TLC match. On one side, you have the return of The Shield, who are competing together in their first match together since 2014.

The trio of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose was one of the most dominant factions in WWE history, and their return has a lot of fans excited.

On the other side, you have The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, and the returning Kane. The Big Red Monster was added to the group after Strowman defeated Reigns in a steel cage match on Raw, which saw Kane destroy the Big Dog to help Strowman get the victory.

The heart of the matter

In an interview with Renee Young after Raw, The Miz was boasting about the success of his new-formed group. He also said he had found The Shield's weakness: ego.

"We'll take on any three, four, five guys. And guess what happened? Now they're taking on five on three at TLC," Miz said.

The IC champ then said he's the greatest strategist of all time, thus making him the greatest intercontinental champion of all-time as well. You can watch the full video here:

What's next?

The 3-on-5 handicap TLC match between The Shield against Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman and Kane is set to take place this Sunday at the TLC pay-per-view event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Author's take

This is a very convoluted mess of a match, but you know it's going to be a barn burner on Sunday (October 22). With it being a TLC match as well, you know some crazy stuff is about to happen. Should be a wild main event on Sunday night.
