What’s the story?

The Miz has taken to social media so as to reveal the beeline of fans that came out to meet him at a public appearance in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before RAW.

Apparently, The Miz met several fans at the meet and greet; besides also jesting with a few younger fans about his WWE rivals.

In case you didn’t know…

Having performed for the WWE since 2004, The Miz went on to ascend from the lower-tier of the organization to the upper echelons—capturing the WWE Championship.

The Miz is now widely regarded as one of the WWE’s top heels today.

The heart of the matter

Despite portraying a villainous character on WWE’s television programming, The Miz is beloved and enjoys a huge fan-following in the professional wrestling community.

Addressing the love expressed towards him by the WWE Universe, The Miz sent out a video on his official Twitter account—showing the long line of fans who were at a store in Milwaukee in order to meet him at his public appearance before RAW tapings commence in the city.

Furthermore, The Miz jested with a few young fans at the store, urging them to state that he’s better than longtime WWE rivals John Cena, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

What’s next?

The Miz is presently not feuding with any specific Superstar, however, the A-Lister still holds the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and could defend the title at WrestleMania on April 8th.

His wife Maryse is expected to give birth to their first child around the date that WrestleMania 34 takes place, which—as pointed out by several pro-wrestling experts—may cause The Miz to miss out on competing at ‘Mania this year.

Author’s take

The Miz truly does enjoy a great fan-following, and deservedly so.

He’s been one of the WWE’s most consistent Superstars over the past several years. Besides, it’s great to see The Miz use social media as a tool so as to further hype and possibly reignite his old feuds with Superstars such as Cena, Reigns and Rollins.
