What's the story?

The Revival has been campaigning for a real shot for tag team wrestling in the WWE for months now, feeling that the division is heavily underutilized, especially on Monday Night Raw. Tonight, they earned the opportunity to bring respect to the titles in a Fatal-4-Way Tag Team Match.

In case you didn't know...

The Revival faced off against Lucha House Party, the B-Team, and Heavy Machinery in a match to determine Bobby Roode & Chad Gable's next challengers. The Raw Tag Team Champions have beaten the best teams that Raw have to offer since taking them off of the Authors of Pain a few months back.

The Revival, though, feel that the tag team division has been put on the back burner on Raw, and have been found on Twitter, multiple times, pointing out how poorly they've been treated. Recently, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have been involved in a feud with Lucha House Party, which has seen the Luchadors use "Lucha House Rules" multiple times to cheat the former 2 Time NXT Tag Team Champions.

Tonight, the Revival managed to finally get past Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik, along with two other top teams.

The heart of the matter

On Monday Night Raw, The Revival faced off against The B-Team, Lucha House Party, and Heavy Machinery in an effort to be crowned #1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championship. It looked like Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic were about to earn their opportunity when Wilder pulled the ropes, sending Knight to the outside and preventing the Compactor.

The Revival then managed to tag in off of Dozovic, and dropped Bo Dallas with the Shatter Machine for the 1-2-3!

What's next?

With another opportunity at the Raw Tag Team Titles, The Revival have one more chance to prove to the world that they're the best team on the roster and the only team that can restore the flagship show's weakening division.
