The Rock has now officially become the highest paid Hollywood actor featuring 19th position in Forbes' list of top 100 highest-paid celebrities of 2016. According to Forbes The Rock, now better known by his real name Dwayne Johnson will be earning a whopping $64.5 million in 2016.
This makes him the highest paid Hollywood actor in the list. The list is been topped by Taylor Swift who will be earning $170 million this year. Still, It's quite an accomplishment for a wrestler turned actor whose first WWE gimmick was rejected harshly by all WWE fans.
It's notable here that after having a 9-year long career in wrestling, The Rock left WWE for chasing his Hollywood dream back in 2004.
