Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson recently celebrated his 45th birthday this May 2nd, and was presented with a movie-themed birthday cake on the set of his new movie Rampage.
In case you didn’t know...
Besides a legendary career in the sport of professional wrestling, The Rock is also one of the highest-grossing stars in Hollywood as of today.
The heart of the matter:
Rocky has compiled a highly-respectable Hollywood resume over the years, and with movies such as The Fate of The Furious, Baywatch and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, this year; the WWE legend is already working on his next movie.

Rampage is reportedly an action-adventure monster movie based on a 1980s video-game of the same name, directed by Brad Peyton and written by Ryan Engle. The film stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacey, Marley Shelton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
What’s next?
Rampage is produced by New Line Cinema and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and is scheduled to release on April 20th, 2018 in 3D and IMAX.

My hat is off to The Rock, it truly is. After reaching the pinnacle of the pro-wrestling business, the man didn’t stop there, and trucked onward and upward taking the notorious industry that is Hollywood by the horns, and taming the beast.
Even though, as professional wrestling fans, we miss the Rock, it’s awesome to watch his movies and besides, he does make the occasional WWE appearance every few months, which…again, is awesome. Never change Rocky, never change!
