WWE News: The Rock's WrestleMania 35 status revealed

What's the story?

With several big stars set to take part at the Grandest Stage of Them All next month, the Rock is expected to set foot in the squared circle at Met Life Stadium. But according to the Ringside News, WWE does not have any plan for the Great One at WrestleMania 35.

It has been a long time since the Rock entered the WWE ring. The Great One's last appearance was at WrestleMania 32 where he had a long segment with the Wyatt Family. The Rock also had a bout with the former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan in the same event, as the ten-time WWE Champion pinned the latter in just six seconds. It was the fastest victory in WrestleMania history.

Presently, the Rock is engaged in his movie career. He is one of the leading movie stars of Hollywood who has given several blockbuster movies in his career.

The heart of the matter

With WrestleMania just three weeks away, the excitement is sky-high for the WWE Universe. The pay-per-view is stacked with some blockbuster matches for the event. Since the Rock is immensely popular in the WWE Universe, the fans expect the former WWE Champion to show up in every WrestleMania. However, the Rock finds it difficult to manage time every WrestleMania as he is extremely busy with the movies and promotions.

The Great One missed last two WrestleMania events, and the fans were certainly disheartened. As a matter of fact, he was scheduled to take part in the Ronda Rousey debut match last year, but Kurt Angle replaced the Great One. With the return of Roman Reigns previous month, many fans anticipated a match between the two elite superstars.

Since there is no actual plan for the Great One in New Jersey, we might need to wait to see his return in the squared circle. However, the last minute surprise is always possible at the Showcase of Immortals.
