Former WWE Superstar The Rock recently took to Instagram and posted a throwback photo featuring himself and his mom.
The Hollywood star shared a tribute to his mom in the caption to the photo, and took a light-hearted shot at his appearance.

The Rock is widely regarded as one of the biggest WWE Superstars of all time. He came into the WWE in the mid-90s and was heavily booed by the fans for donning a generic babyface persona. This led to the creation of The Rock, hailed by many as possibly the greatest talker in the history of this business.

The Brahma Bull's star only rose from this point on, as he began getting Hollywood roles in movies of the stature of The Scorpion King. A couple of years later, he is one of the highest paid Hollywood actors of all time. Recently, his mom stated that she would love for him to go back to WWE and resume a legendary rivalry.
The heart of the matter
On the occasion of Mother's Day, The Rock posted a throwback photo from his childhood on his official Instagram handle. As per the caption, The Rock was 11 years old when the picture was taken. He went on to pay a heartfelt tribute to his mother, stating that she has supported him since day one.
He also took a shot at his appearance in the photo, as can be seen in the caption. Not many fans are aware of the fact that Rock was suffering from gynecomastia from an early age, and had to undergo liposuction to get rid of the excess fat on his chest.
