WWE News: The Rock lashes out at a trolling fan on Twitter

The Rock
Don't come at The Rock with stupid comments on Twitter...

What's the story?

Ahead of Kurt Angle's return to a WWE for the first time in over 11 years, The Rock would send Kurt a message congratulating him on his return to the ring:

Then a fan decided to troll The Rock with the obvious only to get completely destroyed by The Great One afterwards. Check out that series of tweets below:

One of the top 3 things not to say to a professional wrestler...

In case you didn't know...

The WWE dropped a bombshell onto the WWE Universe on Friday afternoon that Kurt Angle would replace Roman Reigns in the 5-on-3 handicap Tables Ladders & Chairs match at last night's pay per view.

Both Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were absent to the pay per view due to illness. SmackDown Live's AJ Styles would replace Wyatt in the match against Finn Balor.

The heart of the matter

You never know with these people if they are serious or just trying to get 15 minutes of fame by getting a celebrity to acknowledge their ridiculous tweets. Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens do a great job at making fun of those people who are trying to be "too smart for the room."

Regardless, this guy was famous on social media for a while as over 52,000 people liked The Rock's response out of the 12 million people who follow him on that particular social media platform.

As for Angle, he performed well in his return to the ring. Alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, they were able to overcome the 5-on-3 odds and defeat The Miz, Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Kane at WWE Tables Ladders & Chairs last night.

What's next?

The Rock is constantly busy in the world of Hollywood, and his next movie will be Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. It is a remake of the 1995 movie starring the late Robin Williams. The movie comes out worldwide on December 20th.

Author's take...

What a ridiculous comment by that random dude on Twitter. Hopefully the millions (and millions) of The Rock's followers on Twitter continuously called him an idiot.

The Rock and Kurt Angle have a lot of history and that was a very cool message that Rock sent to the Olympic Gold Medalist. It was truly a special night with Angle's return to in-ring competition.
