Three great matches announced for tonight's episode of SmackDown Live

What’s the story?

Three marquee matchups have been announced for tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.

Per the latest announcements, Charlotte Flair will compete against Tamina Snuka, while Baron Corbin will face Bobby Roode. Additionally, The New Day will go toe-to-toe with Rusev & Aiden English.

In case you didn’t know…

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live airs from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

The show will likely highlight the repercussions of Sami Zayn’s actions last week, The Bludgeon Brothers’ dominance on the show, apart from the aforementioned marquee matchups.

The heart of the matter

The WWE will present a non-title match between SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Tamina Snuka on tonight’s edition of SmackDown Live.

Furthermore, WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin will compete against Bobby Roode in a non-title match.

As for the blue brand’s Tag Team Division, The New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston & Big E) will face the team of Rusev & Aiden English.

What’s next?

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live (December 5th, 2017) will go down at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

The show builds up towards the upcoming SmackDown-brand exclusive PPV Clash Of Champions which airs on December 17th, 2017.

Author’s take

Firstly, the Charlotte Flair vs. Tamina Snuka matchup seems to be a step in the right direction, especially considering that the Flair/Natalya feud seems to have run its course now. Tamina possesses an unbridled spirit and gifted athleticism.

Ergo, Snuka may force Flair to dig deep and pull out an even impressive performance than she usually does.

Speaking of athleticism, Baron Corbin is slowly but surely transforming into one of the WWE’s must-see Superstars, and Bobby Roode is no slouch either.

As for The New Day and ‘Rusev Day’ (sic), there isn’t a person in the WWE Universe who could possibly hate these talented teams. Tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live seems great.
