WWE News: Tommy Dreamer unhappy with James Ellsworth for House of Hardcore no-show

Ellsworth was scheduled to be Dreamer’s partner at HOH 23

Former WWE superstar Tommy Dreamer has expressed his unhappiness about SmackDown Live’s James Ellsworth not being able to turn up at a ‘House of Hardcore’ event this Saturday.

The newest superstar on the WWE roster was scheduled to appear on House of Hardcore 23 at the MCW Arena in Joppa, Maryland on 17 December. At the event, Ellsworth was supposed to team up with Dreamer in a tag-team contest against The Spirit Squad.

However, as per Tommy Dreamer’s latest tweet, it appears that ‘the man with two hands’ will not be competing at the event. “James Ellesworth screwed Dean Ambrose, myself & @HouseofHardcore he will not be there Sat NO POLITICS NO BS JUST WRESTLING & I'm very pissed,” wrote the hardcore legend.

Dreamer began the House of Hardcore promotion back in the year 2012 and it has hosted 21 events thus far. Over the years, numerous big names from the pro-wrestling world have wrestled on the show including AJ Styles, Abyss, Matt Hardy, Chris Hero, The Dudley Boyz, Rob van Dam, Rhyno and Ricochet among others.

Meanwhile, on SmackDown Live this week, James Ellsworth appeared to be unable to compete due to illness and this prompted general manager Daniel Bryan to put his scheduled title match against WWE Champion AJ Styles on hold until his health improved.

Later that evening, Ellsworth took to Twitter to thank his fans for showing their concern and hoped that his ‘cold’ went away soon. His tweet read, “Thanks for all this get well wishes guys, I hope this cold goes away soon ‘Any Man With Two Hands Can Catch A Cold’.”

We all know that the real reason behind the match between James Ellsworth and Styles was not the former’s illness but the WWE Champion’s injury from TLC. However, it is not clear why Ellsworth will not be heading to the House of Hardcore event this Saturday.
