What's the story? One half of the current WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, Roderick Strong has seemingly decided to step up to the plate and challenge for the Evolve Wrestling Championship, as in a recent tweet, The Undisputed Era member teased the possibility of appearing at the upcoming Evolve shows.Thought of the day- NXT Superstars holding #EVOLVE titles? Well there are no bigger Superstars than the #UndisputedERA and I’ve won just about every @WWNLive title but the #EVOLVE title. So Maybe Dec. 15th I come to La Boom and #ShocktheSystem? #OurERA— Roderick Strong (@roderickstrong) December 1, 2018In case you didn't know...Having joined the Undisputed Era at TakeOver: New Orleans, Roderick Strong is currently enjoying his second reign as NXT Tag Team Champion, alongside fellow stablemate Kyle O'Reilly.Strong first signed for the WWE in 2016 and has already established himself as one of the most popular and over superstars' on the entire NXT roster. The 35-year-old is also a former Ring of Honor veteran having won the ROH World Championship on one solitary occasion in the past. The heart of the matterIn a recent turn of events, NXT superstars Fabian Aichner and The Street Profits won the Evolve Championship and the Evolve Wrestling Tag Team Championships respectively last month. WWE NXT star Roderick Strong, who supposedly isn't a stranger to the World Wrestling Network, having competed with Full Impact Pro and Evolve Wrestling in the past is now teasing the possibility of appearing at the upcoming Evolve Wrestling shows. In a recent tweet, Strong stated that as of right now, there are no bigger superstars than The Undisputed Era in NXT and since 'The Messiah of Backbreakers' has almost won every single WWN Title except the Evolve Championship, we could very well be in for a shock come December 15th.Strong's challenge also received a lot of attention from further Evolve Wrestling stars such as the likes of Fabian Aichner, Darby Allin, and Anthony Henry. Before you go around throwing challenges.....TAKE a hard look at who's been fighting for that EVOLVE championship. So before I learn my lesson let's see how bad things can get.Come on down to EVOLVE and pay me a visit at EVOLVE 118 on Dec 16 in Deer Park, NY. https://t.co/rFJ1ppmHXz— DARBY ALLIN (@DarbyAllin) December 2, 2018Interesting thought Hot Rod! U can show up anytime you want. But just know this....If you push me, I will push you back! #ChallengeAccepted https://t.co/XrrNqRP2Tu— Fabian Aichner (@FabianAichner) December 2, 2018Thought of the day- Get in line. You don't get to cut in front of everyone else just because you are an NXT superstar. I am tired of it. Earn your shot, and if you need someone to earn it against, I do not have a match announced for Dec. 15th yet. I will gladly welcome you back!— Anthony Henry (@Antnyhenry) December 2, 2018What's next?As of right now, nothing regarding Roderick Strong's potential appearance at Evolve has been confirmed yet but one thing we do know that Strong's fellow stablemate Adam Cole once defended the NXT North American Championship against Walter at Evolve earlier this year, so maybe Strong is indeed ready to Shock The System at Evolve once again!
