What's the story?

Former WWE Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, recently uploaded a new edition of "Ronda On The Road" on the video-sharing platform, Youtube.

Ronda stated in the video diary that she has made peace with the fact that her accomplishments will be appreciated only after she's dead.

In case you didn't know...

Ronda Rousey lost her Raw Women's Title in the main event of WrestleMania 35 when Becky Lynch pinned her in a controversial finish to the headliner.

After the match, Ronda was seen talking to her mother who was sitting at ringside, and informing her that she might've suffered a hand injury during the match.

The heart of the matter

The post-WrestleMania edition of Ronda On The Road chronicles her journey throughout WrestleMania weekend. After Ronda's match at The Show of Shows, she was examined backstage for a possible injury. Triple H and Paul Heyman were seen giving her hugs and appreciating her performance.

It's notable that Ronda was originally a babyface and turned on the fans during the buildup to her 'Mania match. Earlier, after she was beaten down brutally by Charlotte at Survivor Series 2018, the crowd went on to boo her out of the building.

Ronda touched upon the fact that no one appreciates her accomplishments, no matter how hard she tries to give her absolute best inside the ring. She had a smile on her face while stating that people would probably appreciate what she has done throughout her career after she passes.

I’ve come to accept the fact that my accomplishments will only be appreciated after I’m like, dead. And even then, probably not but, you know…

What's next?

Ronda's WWE contract ends on April 10, 2021. She will return back when her hand fully heals, and would probably work a lighter schedule like Brock Lesnar.
