What's the story?
A huge story over the last few months involved WWE's deal with the Fox Network in order to air SmackDown Live on the network next year, forcing the show to move from Tuesday to Friday.
Triple H addressed the move of SmackDown to Fridays and how that might effect other shows in the future on the Takeover: New York conference call today. 411Mania.com carried transcripts of the interview.

WWE has had SmackDown on both the SyFy network and USA respectively over the last few years.
With the deal to air SmackDown on USA coming to an end, WWE reached a deal with Fox recently to have the show both air on Fox and move from Tuesdays to Friday nights.
The heart of the matter
One of the main reasons why Triple H was asked about SmackDown's move to Friday involved the fact that Takeover: New York will air on Friday rather than its normal home of the Saturday before a big PPV.
The Game was asked if he'd rather have Takeover events on Thursdays or Saturdays going forward since SmackDown would now take up the Friday slate in WWE. He stated that 'probably Saturday because he thinks weekends are better for big shows'.
Conventional thinking is that it would also give families an easier time to make it safely to the arena for the event rather than get stuck in Friday rush hour.
Triple H also added that 'a lot of work has to be done to prepare for the Smackdown move to Fridays'.
WWE has changed some things regarding how they run the company this year, and with the move to Fridays, it would certainly have a big impact on the rest of the weekend when a big PPV is running.
What's next?
WWE is running a standalone Takeover event on Saturday, June 8th, the second Saturday of the month.
It would signal a return to Saturday events as Takeover: New York might be a one-time deal taking place on a Friday night since WrestleMania weekend is such a huge, almost week-long process.
He didn't elaborate too much on SmackDown's move to Fridays, but he understandably has a lot on his plate at the moment.
