What’s the story?

WWE COO and NXT Senior Producer Triple H took to his official Twitter handle last night in order to hype up the forthcoming NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV event and also to shed some insight regarding the ticket sales of the show.

In case you didn’t know…

The first NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn show initially took place back in 2015 at the Barclays Center, which has seemingly become TakeOver: Brooklyn’s official venue, and during the event, we witnessed a historic night of wrestling in NXT history as Finn Balor defeated former champion Kevin Owens in order to retain the NXT Championship.

Whereas, in the other main event of the evening, Sasha Banks successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley. In the other preliminary matches, Samoa Joe defeated Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews also got a singles win over Baron Corbin. Meanwhile, The Vaudevillians defeated Blake and Murphy in order to win the NXT Tag Team Championships and Japanese legend Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger made his NXT debut, as he defeated Tyler Breeze.

The heart of the matter

WWE COO Triple H took it to his official Twitter handle recently and hyped up the return of TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, which as usual is slated to take place during SummerSlam weekend as ‘The Game’ wrote the following on Twitter:

As mentioned, tickets for TakeOver: Brooklyn IV will go on sale this Friday at 10 am EST on NXTTickets.com.

What’s next?

As usual, NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV will take place on Saturday, the 18th of August at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on the night before SummerSlam. And as expected, following the success of last year’s TakeOver: Brooklyn III, this year’s event also promises to be a solid one.

Author’s Take

Since its inception in 2015, NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn has proved itself to be one of the most vital pay-per-view events in the NXT TakeOver series and if you’re a die-hard Pro Wrestling fanatic then you surely wouldn’t want to miss this year’s NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV.
