What’s the story?

WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has taken to social media to introduce highly regarded prospect Lio Rush to the WWE Universe:

In case you didn’t know…

Lio Rush has been lauded for his acrobatic style of wrestling and his work in ROH (Ring Of Honor).

The 22-year-old signed with WWE earlier this year and worked the September 14th NXT tapings, losing to the Velveteen Dream.

The heart of the matter

Lio Rush entered the world of professional wrestling having competed as a hard-nosed grinder — an amateur wrestler in Lanham, Maryland.

The Man of the Hour is well-known for his high-flying style of wrestling and recently revealed his aim of representing the new generation of wrestlers in the sport’s top organizations.

Triple H insinuated that an extraordinary talent with stupendous potential such as Rush could ascend to true greatness when allowed to perform in an elite promotion such as the WWE.

What’s next?

Lio Rush presently competes for the WWE’s NXT brand. Fans can see more of the M.O.T.H. in the days to come on the show.

Author’s take

Lio Rush is a talented performer and has all the makings of turning into a titanic Superstar for the WWE, helping the global professional wrestling promotion pave the way for the next generation of stars to truly break through.

Rush and the WWE have nothing less than a gigantic task at hand — given the younger generation of fans becoming considerably more demanding in recent times. However, if his work in ROH is anything to go by, Rush has the potential to leave an indelible mark on the world of professional wrestling.
