Today, Triple H announced via his Twitter account that the tickets for NXT Takeover: New Orleans will go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM CST. Take a look at his tweet below:
In case you didn't know...
The very first NXT Takeover took place from the Full Sail Arena on May 29, 2014; just a few months after the WWE Network launched. There were two main events for the first ever Takeover.
In the first, Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya for the vacant NXT Women's Championship with both of their fathers at ringside. The other main event saw Neville defeating Tyson Kidd to retain the NXT Championship.
The heart of the matter
NXT Takeover: New Orleans will take place at the Smoothie King Center on April 7th, the night before WrestleMania. The arena is the same place in which NBA's New Orleans Pelicans play and it holds nearly 18,000 people for concerts.
With Takeover: New Orleans still a few months away, the shaping of the match cards remain unknown.
One man who has been potentially pencilled in for the NXT Championship match as the initial reports on Drew McIntyre's torn bicep stated that he could return before WrestleMania weekend. McIntyre offered a warning on Twitter to the NXT Champion shortly after the injury that he was coming for them.
What's next?
NXT is currently holding a series of matches over the next few weeks to determine the number one contender for NXT Champion Andrade Cien Almas. There will be qualifying matches over the next few weeks, ending with a Fatal-4-Way to determine who faces Almas at NXT Takeover: Philly.
Johnny Gargano earned his way into the Fatal-4-Way after defeating Kassius Ohno on last week's NXT television show.

I know from experience two years ago in Dallas, the Takeover ticket is a tough one to get, so I definitely suggest to get ready a few minutes before they release the tickets on Friday morning to purchase. I know I will be doing the same as I will be attending this year's events down in New Orleans.
