What's the story?

WWE Japan released a video on their official Youtube channel confirming that Triple H will wrestle in Tokyo in a WWE Live event on June 28, 2019.

In case you didn't know...

WWE hosts live events known as house shows in various different countries to maintain a connection with their global audience. These events give a chance to the people to see the wrestlers live in their local arena and interact with them. WWE is going to host such a house show in Tokyo, Japan on June 28 and 29 this year.

Triple H last wrestled at Super Showdown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last Saturday against Randy Orton in a one-on-one falls match. The match was generally criticized for being too slow paced and long.

The heart of the matter

WWE Japan released a video on their official Youtube channel confirming that Triple H is going to a part of the live event in Tokyo on June 28 this year. His opponent has not yet been revealed, but it will be interesting to know who is he going to wrestle against.

The Cerebral Assassin doesn't wrestle in many house shows since taking a role as Executive Vice-president in the company. So, his inclusion shows that the show is going to be a huge affair and WWE wants to maintain a good relationship with their Japanese fan base.
