On 9th December 2017, WWE made their return to India for the first time since December 2016, as the Monday Night Raw superstars landed in New Delhi to put up a show for the WWE Universe present at the IGN Stadium.

The match card, as usual, was heavily stacked and featured some of the top superstars from Vince McMahon's promotion. The likes of Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Braun Strowman and much more were all in action during the event.

However, the main attraction of the show was the presence of WWE's most dominant faction in modern history, The Shield, and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal who went toe-to-toe with "The Game" Triple H.

Following his over Jinder Mahal in New Delhi; Triple H decided to address the WWE Universe in India, as well as praised his opponent on the night, Jinder Mahal, via a genuine heartfelt promo.

"The Game" started off his promo saying that it was an honor to share the ring with Jinder Mahal. He acknowledged that "The Modern Day Maharaja" might be hated by many people for no reasons and might receive a lot of criticism from fans around the world, but, "The King of Kings" additionally claimed that Mahal has earned all the respect in the world, in the eyes of Triple H.

Hunter and Mahal would then go on to share a handshake inside the ring and Triple H would follow it up by raising the former 3MB member's hand, as the two men received a huge reaction from the New Delhi crowd.
