WWE News: Triple H signs a new contract with WWE

Triple H will wrestle until WrestleMania 35

Triple H is one of the few legends of the Attitude Era who still wrestle. Though Triple H wrestles sporadically, every one of his matches are main event caliber in the recent times. It is also safe to say that Triple H puts on really great matches that could be termed as A+ match in critic language.

Triple H’s last televised appearance was at WrestleMania 32 where he lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns. Since then, Triple H has appeared in two Live Events in tag matches. Other than that Triple H has been conspicuously absent from WWE programming.

According to DWN, WWE’s new paperwork filed with SEC reveals that Triple H has signed a new contract with WWE. The contract was signed on May 9th and it reveals that Triple H has officially signed a three year wrestling deal with the company. This could be taken as an indication as Triple H’s intention to wrestle atleast until WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

Triple H’s previous performer’s contract expired at the end of March and this new deal will renew automatically unless either party decides to terminate the deal for any unforeseen reasons. Considering how Triple H has dedicated his life to WWE such a possibility is minimal and if in case it happens then we can expect a retirement match at WrestleMania 35.
