As most of our readers may be aware, WWE is heading to New Delhi, India for two Live Events on the 8th and 9th of December. The original plans were to have Jinder Mahal defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens on the first day.

This past week on SmackDown Live, we saw Jinder Mahal lose the WWE Championship to AJ Styles, who now holds the top prize in the blue brand. Even though that makes the possibility of the Jinder-KO match impossible for the time being, a WWE legend teased yet another dream match.

This is what Triple H had to say about the Live Event in India:

On my recent trip to Mumbai, I was asked a million times- would I consider stepping back into the ring in India in December? I've decided, India, that if you want it bad enough, I will. Reply here. Let me hear your voice, and if it is loud enough, then I will return to New Delhi on December 9th.

He further added that the match that he would have in India wouldn't be against just about anyone. It would be against Jinder Mahal himself. It is interesting to note that while the Owens-Mahal match was advertised for Day 1, Triple H is teasing a return for Day 2.

It is also abundantly clear that while Triple H played a babyface recently, aligning himself with The Shield, in this particular case, he would play the heel against the hometown hero-Jinder Mahal.

For now, we are uncertain if Jinder Mahal will regain the championship before the Live Event in India or not. If not, a marquee match with Triple H may be a great way to showcase the local hero and Indian babyface, Jinder Mahal.
