What’s the story?

WWE upped the ante for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view by adding two more matches to the show.

A pre-show bout between Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson versus Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel of The Miztourage has been announced in addition to Cesaro & Sheamus defending the Raw Tag Team Championships against Apollo & Titus O’Neil of Titus Worldwide.

In case you didn’t know...

Titus O’Neil and Apollo have faced off against Cesaro & Sheamus in several non-title matches over the past few weeks.

Not counting the Royal Rumbles, this marks the first title opportunity a member of Titus Worldwide has received since Akira Tozawa defeated Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship last year.

The heart of the matter

The following are the list of matches announced for the Elimination Chamber:

Pre-show: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs The Miztourage
“Woken” Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt
Asuka vs Nia Jax
Cesaro & Sheamus(c) vs Titus Worldwide – Raw Tag Team Championships
Alexa Bliss(c) vs Bayley vs Mandy Rose vs Mickie James vs Sasha Banks vs Sonya Deville – Elimination Chamber for the Raw Women’s Championship
Braun Strowman vs Elias vs Finn Bálor vs John Cena vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins vs The Miz – Elimination Chamber to determine the No.1 Contender for the Universal Championship

Also announced for the show is the contract signing of Ronda Rousey which will be mediated by Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Both Rousey and McMahon are rumored to be opponents at WrestleMania 34, so this segment is likely to serve as the catalyst for their feud.

What’s next?

This will be the final Raw-exclusive pay-per-view for the foreseeable future following the company’s announcement that future events will feature both Raw and SmackDown rosters.

Author’s Take

The Elimination Chamber looks like its going to be a good show. Hopefully, it delivers the results fans are anticipating.
