WWE News: Two more names added to RAW 25th Anniversary show

Two more names added to the huge show!
Two more names added to the huge show!

What's the story?

Mike Johnson from PWInsider has reported that two more names will be appearing at the already stacked RAW 25 show with Mark Henry and Jeff Hardy set to join a bumper list of past and present WWE Superstars.

In case you didn't know...

RAW 25 is set to be on of the biggest nights in Sports Entertainment as the WWE celebrate the 25th anniversary of their flagship weekly television show by bringing the WWE Universe an incredible array of past WWE legends and current WWE talent being shot in two venues, the Barclay Center and the Manhattan Center.

That paragraph comes across as hyperbolic, but I'm genuinely excited about the RAW 25th Anniversary show.

The heart of the matter

The current list of names is as follows, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Ted Dibiase, Christian, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Scott Hall, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, Dudley Boyz, Booker T, The Rock *(via satellite), Boogeyman, 'Mean' Gene Okerlund, John Laurinaitis, The Godfather, Brother Love, John Cena, The Bella Twins, JBL, Ron Simmons, Teddy Long, Sgt. Slaughter.

But thanks to a PWInsider report you can now add Mark Henry to that list. Despite reports recently surfacing suggesting he has retired 'The World's Strongest Man' had to issue a statement clarifying that he hasn't actually retired and will be at the RAW 25th show.

Also attending, as reported by PWInsider, is Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy is currently out of action due to undergoing surgery to correct a leg injury he suffered and it is not yet known when he will return to ring action. Still, he'll be at the the RAW 25th show nonetheless.

What's next?

The only match announced for the night is Roman Reigns defending his Intercontinental Title against The Miz, so it's likely to be a night full of surprises. Quite what Mark Henry or Jeff Hardy will be doing at the show is anyone's guess, just as it's anyone's guess what anyone else will be doing at the show.

Author's take

Mark Henry and Jeff Hardy are two decent names to add to the show. I'm excited, is anyone else excited?
