WWE News: Tye Dillinger performs The People's Elbow at live event

Tye Dillinger has been using The Rock’s signature move.

What’s the story?

Tye Dillinger has once again used The Rock’s signature move in a match at a recent NXT live event, after having utilised the very same manoeuvre at a previous NXT live event.

In case you didn’t know...

Tye Dillinger (Ronald Arneill) previously performed for WWE and TNA/Impact Wrestling in the mid-to-late 2000s, however, has only recently risen to prominence after his NXT debut in 2013.

As we had previously reported, Dillinger has introduced a modified version of his signature move Tye Breaker, making it a slightly modified version of CM Punk’s GTS.

The heart of the matter

Dillinger now seems to have reportedly added yet another legendary pro-wrestling performer’s signature move to his arsenal, and has used the People’s Elbow – Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s signature move – two times in a row at NXT live events. Here’s the video of the NXT crowd marking out at The Perfect Ten using The People’s Elbow.

It’s unclear as to whether Dillinger will incorporate the People’s Elbow in his main-roster matches as well, or if he’s merely in the stage of trying it out at live events.

What’s next?

Tye Dillinger presently performs for WWE’s SmackDown brand, and he is reportedly set to play a more significant role in the blue brand’s proceedings in the weeks to come.

Author’s take

The Perfect Ten using The People’s Elbow? How about that? I personally think that if he were to indeed use the manoeuvre as his signature move from this point going forward, he should name it the ‘Perfect 10 Elbow’ – add his own twist to it.

Besides, judging his movements on the basis of the video, it seems as though he truly has been practising and perfecting the People’s Elbow. After all, Practice Makes Perfect Perfect 10!
