WWE News: Update on Hall of Famer's heart procedure

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is doing well

What's the story?

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan recently posted an update on his heart procedure.

The WWE Hall of Famer stated that the procedure was successful.

In case you didn't know...

Jim Duggan had recently updated his fans on Instagram, stating that a planned heart procedure was on the way.

Duggan was one of the most charismatic WWE Superstars of the 80s. Although he never managed to make it to the main event scene and hold the top title, Duggan was a solid mid-carder and a fan-favorite Superstar.

He made several appearances in WWE after his initial exit from the company.

The heart of the matter

Duggan had mentioned on Instagram that the heart procedure was a planned one, and hinted that it isn't anything serious.

On my way to the hospital for a planned heart procedure, will be in over night. Then back HOOOOOING. Any good thoughts and prayers will be appreciated. See you down the road.

Duggan had also mentioned that many of his old friends contacted him and gave their best wishes.

Bill Eadie, one of the "Demolition" guys called me and said he had Afib for many years. Jerry Lawler called me and said, of course, he has a heart problem and is still doing well. [Brian] Knobbs and [Jerry] Sags, Hulk Hogan, just everybody checked in on me, which was really nice. The outpouring from the fans and friends is humbling.

He updated his fans with another photo, stating that the procedure was successful.

What's next?

Jim Duggan looks to be in great spirits, if his latest post is any indication. We at Sportskeeda wish him a speedy recovery.
