Samoa Joe set to return very soon

What’s the story?

As we had previously reported, the belief is that Samoa Joe is likely to return to the WWE in mid-March.

In hot pursuit of the aforementioned speculation, Joe is now being advertised for multiple WWE live events next month.

In case you didn’t know…

Samoa Joe last competed on the January 1st edition of Monday Night RAW.

Joe is said to have suffered a foot injury, owing to which he’s been out of action ever since.

The heart of the matter

As per veteran professional wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Samoa Joe is likely to make his in-ring return in mid-March.

The banter has now been further solidified as the WWE is indeed advertising Joe for more than a few house shows in the latter half of March.

Furthermore, considering that Joe has been out of action with plantar fasciitis since January—the recovery time for the injury being about 6-10 weeks—all signs point to the Destroyer returning to WWE in-ring competition in about 4 1/2 weeks.

What’s next?

Samoa Joe is presently rehabilitating his foot injury and is expected to enter the mix in the top storylines on Monday Night RAW upon his return.

Sportskeeda will keep fans updated on the veteran performer’s comeback status, as and when further details on the same are revealed.

Author’s take

Samoa Joe is one of the most intimidating personalities in the world of sports-entertainment. Joe is an excellent athlete and deceptively agile for a man his size.

Honestly speaking, Joe seems to have suffered a few injury issues over the past couple of years, however, given his consistency and the intensity at which he performs, injuries simply come with the territory.

Sportskeeda wishes Samoa Joe a safe & speedy recovery.
