The Show of Shows is closing in upon us

What's the story?

We are now less than five days away from WrestleMania 34 and the card is looking more stacked than ever. Speculations regarding who is set to win at WM are running wild, and here we bring you the updated betting odds for the matches at 'Mania, courtesy Sportsbettingexprets.

Needless to say, possible spoilers ahead.

In case you didn’t know…

Betting odds are a huge part of the pro wrestling industry. More often than not, they are usually a good indicator of who will emerge victorious in their respective matches.

Though there is still some time for the odds to change drastically and for WWE to pull off last-minute shockers, some matches supposedly have their results set in stone.

The heart of the matter

First off, Roman Reigns is a clear favourite to win the Universal Championship with odds of (-350) against the (+300) chances of Brock Lesnar emerging victorious.

The WWE Championship match is much less predictable though. Shinsuke Nakamura remains the favourite to win with (-180), with Styles not too far behind at (+150).

While Nia Jax (-250) is expected to win the Raw Women's Championship match against Alexa Bliss (+210), Asuka (-350) has emerged the clear favourite to win the SmackDown Women's Championship match against Charlotte (+300).

The Intercontinental Championship match seems to be a close contest with Finn Balor (+115) being a narrow favourite to win, followed by Seth Rollins (+150) and finally The Miz (+350).

The US Title match is another uncertain contest, with Randy Orton currently favoured to retain at an odds of (+110), narrowly followed by Bobby Roode (+150), Jinder Mahal (+350) and Rusev trailing at (+500).

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey are expected to emerge as the winners in their mixed tag team match up with huge odds (-750), while Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are set to win against the duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn with odds of (-250).

The Usos are favoured to retain their Tag Team Championships with odds of (+110), with The Bludgeon Brothers coming in a close second at (+130). Cedric Alexander is set to win the Cruiserweight Championship with odds of (-150).

What's next?

This year's WrestleMania card looks to be the most stacked card of all time, with some major bouts taking place. The show is set to take place this Sunday, April 8th in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Author's take

I'm surprised that Rusev is the least favourite to win the US Title bout, considering that he is arguably one of the most over Superstars on the roster today. Randy Orton retaining might just make the fans lose interest in the title altogether, while Roode's recent title run was lacklustre at best. Jinder Mahal will be the most unpopular choice among the fans, to win the title.
