In the past, the WWE over the years has been producing movies starring WWE superstars. The company owns its own production studios, WWE Studios, with its headquarters based in Los Angeles, California.
Vince McMahon, the Chairman of the company has recently endorsed his former employee The Rock’s movie, Central Intelligence. The movie is also starred by Kevin Hart.
WWE Studio has made movies in the past like The Scorpion King, The Rundown and Walking Tall, that had The Rock take on the lead role. Vince McMahon in the past has always taken a step to promote his wrestlers to the most whenever possible.
There have been other superstars like Edge, The Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton that have had their acting debut under the WWE Studios.
The Rock and Kevin Hart star together for the first time in an action-comedy movie. The Rock isn’t new to comedy roles. He has previously acted in comedy movies namely Gameplan and Tooth Fairy.
