WWE News: Wade Barrett lands first project after leaving the WWE
Barrett said that he wanted a break from pro-wrestling
After his release from WWE, the former Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett announced that he wants a “break” from this pro-wrestling career. He also confirmed that this break will be a temporary one and the fans will again get to see him wrestle.
Barrett was not happy with his recent bookings in WWE and asked for his release from the company. He even changed his Twitter handle to his real name, Stu Bennett and mentioned that ‘Barrett’ is dead and buried.
As he is not interested to return to the squared circle soon, fans were eager to know about the future projects of the former WWE Superstar. Yesterday, Bennett took to Twitter and teased about some big announcement. He tweeted :

As reported by wrestlinginc.com, he later confirmed that his new project is acting. He has been cast for Evolutionary Films' upcoming feature film, Vengeance. Bennett has been signed to play the leading role in the movie and the name of his character will be John Gold.
